Description:
Following the world's first organ transcription of the famous musical fairy tale by Heinrich E. Grimm (BUTZ1851), here is a four-hand version, made by the same arranger from the original orchestral score. The distribution of the parts to two players results in extended tonal possibilities without increasing the technical demands: Everything is in the hands and feet of the organ. The arrangement is designed for a three-manual organ, but it can also be performed on a two-manual instrument. The text of the fairy tale, written by the composer himself, has been newly translated especially for this edition and is available in German and English. A delight for organ duos - and for the audience anyway!
