Description:
This work by Marienkantor Christian Vorbeck from Witten is based on Oliver Messiaen's musical alphabet. The Triptyque in the three movements "Fantaisie, Méditaion and Toccata" originated from an improvisation that was heard for the first time in the participants' concert of the 14th International Altenberg Organ Academy.
A modern musical language that requires an organ with a somewhat more extensive selection of stops, as well as sufficient preparation/practice time in order to be able to present the music effectively.
