No. 2 An Wasserflüssen Babylons - expressive meditation with the choral melody in the pedal. No. 3 Schmücke dich,o liebe Seele - canon between soprano and bass. No. 4 Allein Gott in der Höh' sei Ehr' - melody ornamented in a dancing and joyful character. The chorale preludes are dedicated to the memory of the american Bach scholar Anne Leahy (1961-2007).
