The ANACROUSE collection offers novice and experienced pianists alike a wide choice of classical works, from the Renaissance to the modern era.

We have set ourselves the goal of offering both "must-haves" from the classical repertoire and pieces by sometimes forgotten composers, all of undeniable pedagogical value. Each piece, sold individually, has been the subject of careful editorial work, both in terms of the musical text and its engraving, in order to guarantee musicians the conditions essential to the pleasures derived from frequent trade in these works.

The scores are offered in the form of traditional works (paper sheets), and also available by download.

Chaikovsky was very proud of his pianistic prodigality, especially during the year 1878, which saw the birth of the Grande Sonate, the 24 little pieces from the Album pour enfants and the Douze Morceaux opus 40. From the latter collection comes Chanson triste, written in G minor, whose melodic structure is based on the repetition of identical notes. This thematic monotony is ingeniously counterbalanced by a rich, expressive harmony, whose melancholy color captivates many music lovers, who have made this Chanson triste one of their favorite pieces. An authentic salon piece, it is poignantly sincere and testifies in its own way to the infinite sadness that haunted the famous Russian composer.
