Description:
The russian composer and pianist Alexander Rosenblatt (born 1956 in Moscow) writes music in cross-over-style, leaving behind the boarders between the so called 'serious' and 'popular' music.
His 'Christmas Fantasy' for piano is grounded on popular Christmas melodies, combining them in artificial counterpuntal setting and with vintage jazzy elements (chords, rhythms, intonations etc.).
