Cindy

Bring the fun and energy of an old-fashioned barn dance to the piano with Cindy, a lively one-piano, six-hands arrangement based on the beloved American folk song Get Along Home, Cindy. Dating back to the Civil War era, this cheerful tune has long been a favorite for square dances and community gatherings. Its playful spirit and catchy melody make it an instant hit with performers and audiences alike.

Written for late elementary to early intermediate pianists, Cindy is carefully arranged to be easy to learn and enjoyable to rehearse. The parts fit together naturally, allowing students to experience the excitement of ensemble playing while building rhythmic confidence and listening skills. Full of toe-tapping charm and country flair, this engaging trio is perfect for recitals, group classes, festivals, or any occasion that calls for a little musical fun.
