Description:
This small collection of nine Organ Chorale-Preludes by Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) were edited and transcribed for piano by Ferruccio Busoni "in chamber-music style" in an effort to expose a greater part of the public to these compositions which are so rich in art, feeling, and fantasy. Included: 1. Komm, Gott Schv?pfer, BWV 631; 2. Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme, BWV 140, No. 1; 3. Nun komm, der Heiden Heiland, BWV 659; 4. Nun freut euch, lieben Christen, BWV 734; 5. Reprint edition.
