Our wish with EGplus is to promote communal singing in the congregation in a wide stylistic range and variety of singing forms. To support and guide this singing, suitable accompaniments for organ or piano are required, which have been collected or in many cases newly written for this book. Two accompaniments are provided for each song. Many songs from the popular music genre are easier to accompany on the piano or electric piano than on the organ. For all movements, emphasis has been placed on ease of performance.
