Commissioned by the CNDM (Centro Nacional de Difusión Musical), it was composed between March and April 2016. Dedicated to the pianist Eduardo Fernández, he was also commissioned to premiere it in February 2017. The work, which is a tribute to the memory of the forgotten scientist Rosalind Franklin, is released on the Naxos label.
