Description:
Scott Joplin's The Easy Winners is the basis for this piece and brings the joy of ragtime to an easier level. This famous melody is divided between the hands. Careful counting is needed to achieve the syncopation of the rhythm that is a hallmark of this style. The 8-bar introduction sets up the main section of the piece with fun lyrics that aid in learning the rhythm.
