The ANACROUSE collection offers novice and experienced pianists alike a wide choice of classical works, from the Renaissance to the modern era.

We have set ourselves the goal of offering both "must-haves" from the classical repertoire and pieces by sometimes forgotten composers, all of undeniable pedagogical value. Each piece, sold individually, has been the subject of careful editorial work, both in terms of the musical text and its engraving, in order to guarantee musicians the conditions indispensable to the pleasures derived from frequent trade in these works.

The scores are offered in the form of traditional works (paper sheets), and also available by download.

Tarantella is a traditional music from southern Italy. It probably has ancient roots, traces of which can be found in the worship of ancient gods. Particularly lively, this music, accompanied by frenzied dancing, was played during ceremonies that could last for days on end, ceremonies whose mission was to heal those believed to be victims of the bite of a legendary spider, the tarantula. Composers such as Gioacchino Rossini revived the tarantella in their own way. This Neapolitan Tarantella, known as La Danza, was composed for a symphony orchestra and tenor soloist. But it has been reworked and arranged numerous times by various instrumental ensembles (guitar ensembles), and sung by mezzo-sopranos, for example. The piece seems to spin and twirl, and is truly reminiscent of a bewitching dance.
