The five short pieces for piano as well as the photo of the sheet music cover were created during the first Corona lockdown in 2020; both represent snapshots of a time that was essentially characterized by standstill, named as Momentum 1-5, the five pieces tell of typical human movements and emotions: the jumpiness of thought (Gagliarde), the capriciousness of the spirit (Elegie), the searching movements of the mind (Präludium), the longing of the heart (Pavane), and the magic of hearing (Serenade); in the silence of the lockdown, this could emerge all the more clearly and be perceived accordingly.
