Remo Anzovino is an Italian pianist and composer whose work occupies a singular space between the classical tradition and contemporary musical storytelling. Trained in both piano and composition, he has built a distinctive language that draws equally on the intimacy of chamber music and the emotional breadth of cinematic writing. His scores — conceived for film, theatre, and the concert stage — have won international recognition and been released on major labels, earning him a place among the most compelling voices in contemporary Italian music. This volume brings together the principal works composed by Remo Anzovino for the stage production Monet. Una vita a colori, written by and starring Marco Goldin. The production premiered on 17 October 2026 at the Teatro Sociale in Mantua, before touring major theatres across Italy to mark the centenary of the death of Claude Monet. The collection comprises twelve pieces for solo piano alongside the voice and piano scores of two songs composed for the production to lyrics by Marco Goldin: È quasi la sera and Le parole della neve. Originally scored for piano and cello (with orchestral movements), the works have been transcribed for solo piano under the composer's direct supervision, with the aim of remaining as faithful as possible to the originals while making them fully effective in their solo-piano form. The music and songs are also featured on the album of the same name, released by Decca Italy and distributed by Universal Music Italia on CD, vinyl, and all digital platforms. The volume includes introductory notes by Marco Goldin.
