Gestrandet zwischen Hanon-Etüden, Scarlatti-Sonaten und zweistimmigen Inventionen haben Heumanns Arrangements schon so manchen Hobby-Pianisten vor dem 'Hinschmeißen' bewahrt. Mit unermüdlichem Einsatz ermutigt der renommierte Pädagoge Menschen zum Klavierspiel, ungeachtet ihres Alters oder ihrer musikalischen Vorbildung. Heumann hat den Klavierbegriff gänzlich neu definiert - weg vom Leistungsgedanken und Bildungsdünkel hin zu Spaß und Kreativität. Frei nach der Maxime: Musik ist für alle da. Hiermit leistet er einen entscheidenden Beitrag in der Musikvermittlung, der ihm weit über die Grenzen Deutschlands hinaus Wertschätzung und Anerkennung zu Teil werden lässt.
In Zusammenarbeit mit seinem Neffen, Nikita Heumann, einem vielversprechenden Musiker und Produzenten, ist ein neues Werk namens 'Piano Flow' entstanden. Der Begriff 'Flow' umschreibt das völlige Einssein mit dem eigenen Instrument und der Musik; einer Art Glücksrausch vergleichbar. Dementsprechend tragen die 15 Kompositionen Titel, wie etwa 'Melody Of Rapture' (übersetzt: 'Melodie der Entrückung'), 'Just Breathe', 'Be One With Yourself', 'Pure Awareness', 'True Fulfillment', 'The Power Of Here And Now' und 'Peace And Serenity'. Das Album überzeugt durch anrührend melancholische Stücke von fragiler Ästhetik.
Der Notenband ist broschiert. Die Stücke sind von mittlerem Schwierigkeitsgrad und mit etwas Spielpraxis gut zu bewältigen.
