A/XI 61a, it presents the autograph Stichvorlage prepared by Chopin as the base text for the German first edition published by Breitkopf & Hartel. This splendid manuscript is currently held at the Biblioteka Narodowa in Warsaw, under the shelf-mark Mus. 233 Cim. The facsimile edition of the autograph comes with a scholarly commentary by Professor Jim Samson.
