We have set ourselves the goal of offering both "must-haves" from the classical repertoire and pieces by sometimes forgotten composers, all of undeniable pedagogical value. Each piece, sold individually, has been the subject of careful editorial work, both in terms of the musical text and its engraving, in order to guarantee musicians the conditions indispensable to the pleasures derived from frequent trade in these works.
The scores are offered in the form of traditional works (paper sheets), and also available by download.
This Sonata, justly famous, is of binary cut with two sections with repeats. First section in E major, ending in the dominant key, B major. The second section opens with thematic material taken from the first, varying and developing it, modulating to the extreme, ending in the initial key of E major and concluding identically to the first part.
The atmosphere of this Sonata is special, and we have heard and even seen a staging of an entire procession. Three quarter notes, sounding like the strokes of a conductor's baton, pompously punctuate this little ceremony, empty fifths, repeated notes, the omnipresent dactyl, all seem to have escaped from a royal banda.
