Description:
Travel back in time with this C major solo written by Scott Price to depict a knight fresh from victory. The left hand must remain flexible as it crosses over the right hand throughout the piece to play blocked fifths. The right-hand melody features eighth notes. Add the damper pedal, and you have a recipe for a successful student favorite.Scott Price is the chair of the Piano Department at the University of South Carolina and holds a doctorate in piano performance from the University of Oklahoma. He has given master classes and recitals throughout the United States and Southeast Asia. His recordings are featured in Alfred's Premier Piano Course.
