For this new edition (2025), all scores and transcriptions of the studio album of the same name have been carefully revised. The chord symbols have been added to all pieces to give the player a better insight into the harmonic structure, voicing and melodic progression of the jazz improvisations and arrangements.
"At the end of 2012, Cologne-based jazz pianist Marcel Tusch released his piano solo album Umbrian Arrangements, for which he has now also added the sheet music: 14 very different piano pieces in traditional jazz style, in which you can clearly hear the role model Bill Evans. The soft, melancholy mood that lies over the music also fits in with this. In Peaceful Relation, Tusch also seems to have looked over Satie's shoulder. The pieces are rich in interesting harmonies, beautiful in sound and not always easy to play. Experience with jazz music is an absolute prerequisite.
