The ANACROUSE collection offers novice and experienced pianists alike a wide choice of classical works, from the Renaissance to the modern era.

We have set ourselves the goal of offering both "must-haves" from the classical repertoire and pieces by sometimes forgotten composers, all of undeniable pedagogical value. Each piece, sold individually, has been the subject of careful editorial work, both in terms of the musical text and its engraving, in order to guarantee musicians the conditions indispensable to the pleasures derived from frequent trade in these works.

The scores are offered in the form of traditional works (paper sheets), and also available by download.

Chopin's waltzes have no common appearance with those of other composers. Chopin's dance argument introduces the idea of musings, emotions and confessions, giving rise to the poetic waltz.
Chopin composed a total of some twenty waltzes, of which only eight were published during his lifetime. The same publishers issued six more after the composer's death. And four of the remaining six waited until the 20th century before being published, such as the waltz in A minor published in 1955.
This waltz, with its melodic invention, is the inimitable example of Chopinian elegance. Short and unadorned, its great simplicity of writing lends a structured ease to the interpretation and a freedom of expression to the pianist's musical élan.
