Description:
Cavatina for piano/organ
The cavatina "Yesterday" can be played on the piano as well as on an organ with two different manuals. The dynamic indications also apply to the organist. Additional indications are therefore not necessary.
The dune landscape and the sea in the background on the cover photo have given the music thought-provoking impulses. The varied song melody surrounds a vocal theme and is interrupted by dramatic episodes leading to the climax at the end. "Yesterday" has a broad meaning and can be seen as a synonym for a long life with memories of many kinds.
Stapled edition.
