Duos for Violin and Cello Vol. 7 Songs from Various Nations is an around-the-world trip in 11 new compositions by László Rossa. We travel from far-away Tatarstan to the Lapland in Finland and further to Ireland, France and Central Europe. Special emphasis is given to characters of the national styles. The uneven meters of Balkan dances, the embellishments of slow Serbian lament, and the quick feet of the Dutch song-dance all develop understanding of the musical world through one's own instrument.
