Description:
Hohe Tannen is a well-known folk melody full of nostalgia and quiet poetry, deeply rooted in the Central European musical tradition. It conjures up the vastness of alpine landscapes and the tranquillity of high fir forests - symbols of peace and reflection. In Jirka Kadlec's arrangement, the original theme is treated with great sensitivity, preserving its authentic character and at the same time deepening its sound. The flowing vocal lines invite the listener to pause and convey a warm, sincere emotion. Subtle contrasts between delicacy and sonorous fullness give the music a balanced profile. This version of Hohe Tannen is accessible yet expressive and preserves the timeless spirit of the folk song.
