Description:
George Speckert has made a name for himself with simple but sonorous arrangements for mixed string groups. With Native American songs from various tribes, his new edition takes "young" string quartets into unfamiliar geographical and musical regions. These pieces are easy to play and rhythmically accentuated, while striking melodies give them a very special touch. They can also be used successfully in mixed string classes at general education schools. Whether interspersed individually in lessons and concerts or as a block - they are always a welcome change.
