Pick a Part chamber music is suitable for any combination of instruments in a junior string ensemble. In Music for Christmas, the pieces can be performed individually or in selected medleys. All pieces are in G major or E minor, which allows the pieces to be played consecutively in any order without a break. The music can be used to accompany a choir, repeating for the required number of verses - or even vary the verses by playing the melody alone or using different combinations of melody and harmony.
