Description:
In order to make this duet accessible to as many musicians as possible, the original double bass part (Viennese tuning) has been slightly edited and transposed into today's standard fourths tuning.
The enclosed piano part is intended as an addition and was written on the occasion of the Sperger Competition 2020.
However, it never changes the original viola part and is based on the six sonatas for harpsichord and violoncello which Sperger also composed during his time in Pressburg.
