Description:
Bearing the subtitle ‘Abschied’ (farewell), Sallinen's Seventh Quartet, Op. 98, masterfully weaves melodic clarity with stark, haunting repetitions. The work was written for the Lauttasaari Music Festival in Helsinki, Finland, in June 2026.
