Description:
This little quartet was composed in 1971 and later underwent some minor revisions sometime in the 80's. The piece has its title and background in me listening to a child playing the cello; the clean sound of the strings, the lack of vibrato and the seriousness of the game. The music is a dense network of tiny musical elements, all of which connect in my head with the idea of childhood, serenity and innocence: "From here my world goes".
