Description:
For the first time in the "Bärenreiter's Concert Pieces" series, arrangements of the concertos for viola (BA 8983) and violoncello (BA 8984) are now also available. The editions are ideal continuations of the Sassmannnshaus schools, but can also be used independently of the instrumental school used in each case. Further volumes are planned. As the concerto is exclusively in the first position, it is also suitable for beginners and younger pupils. The key has been transposed to make it easier to play. The concise forewords by the renowned string teachers Christoph and Kurt Sassmannshaus introduce the work and point out relevant instrumental requirements.
