Part of the series 'Les Soirées Intimes' for Violin or Cello with Piano accompaniment, Pavane, Op. 50 is a piece written by Gabriel Fauré. It was transcribed by Henri Busser and requires an upper-intermediate / advanced techniqueto be played perfectly. Really lyrical, this work starts with an Introduction on an 'Andante molto moderato' tempo. It is followed by alternating of pizzicato sections and bow sections. The piece also finishes on some notes inpizzicato. This fantastic work is perfect as part of a concert and will amaze the audience. Gabriel Fauré was a French Composer, Organist, Pianist and teacher. He is one of the most important composers of his generation, withpieces such as 'Pavane' or 'Requiem'.
