Description:
The approximately 10-minute Concertino for double bass and piano op. 128 is a concertante work. It is well suited to prepare young double bass players for playing with the orchestra in music schools, for example, as well as to learn various playing techniques.
In addition to arco and pizzicato, the focus is on cantabile playing, melodic playing in the high register and double stops in the third movement.
In this edition, the double bass plays together with the piano, a later orchestration is conceivable.
