Composed for solo trombone and brass band for Nolan Rey, A Manhattan Fantasy invites you to immerse yourself in the pulsating atmosphere of New York. Inspired by the unique flair of Manhattan, this work combines the colors of jazz and blues with the glamorous esprit of Broadway musicals. Between rousing rhythms, expressive melodies and hints of stylized improvisation, it alternately evokes the hustle and bustle of the avenues, the poetry of neon-lit nights and the inexhaustible energy of the "city that never sleeps". Although originally conceived for the trombone, the work is also suitable for other solo instruments, inviting any performer to immerse themselves in this colorful musical adventure.
