Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart composed five concertos for violin and orchestra. With this edition we present you the Fourth Violin Concerto KV 218 in D major, which was written in 1775. This edition is a revised edition: there is now a piano reduction for the existing DOWANI recording, and the solo part has been provided with fingerings by Herbert Scherz. This edition was edited by the renowned violin teacher Herbert Scherz, who worked for many years as a professor of violin and violin methodology at the music academies in Lucerne and Zurich.
