Krakow violin quartets are chamber music for everyone. Works can be performed by artists, students, pupils and gifted children. However, not all pieces are intended for beginner violinists. Some of them require considerable instrumental skills and chamber music experience. The collection contains ten different miniatures, and each of them has a specific sound idiom. They include a few dances (krakowiak, waltz, kujawiak, oberek), but also a few strictly epic or humorous works. All of them are thematically related to Krakow. These are actually pictures, or even scenes taken from Krakow's life. This is evidenced by both the titles and the characteristics of places associated with the old capital of Poland (...).
