After a severe earthquake on March 11th 2011 the Japanese East-Coast was hit by an enormous Tsunami, which devastated the coast for hundrets of miles and killed thousands of people. This poignant composition, based on an old Japanese fishermen-song from this region, is dedicated to a friend of the composer, representing the People of Japan.
