Description:
The Belgian violinist Charles-Auguste de Bériot (1802-1870) was also a teacher and composer. "Scène de Ballet" is perhaps his best-known composition. It is often played by violin students, including the young Itzhak Perlman, who included the work in his collection "Concertos from my Childhood". The piece of music captivates with its beautiful melodies and rhythmic finesse.
