Description:
The violin part was edited by Wolf-Dieter Seiffert, who published further Urtext editions by Mozart with Henle Verlag (including the complete sonatas for piano and violin, HN77, 78, 79, 80). The cadenzas and entrances are by the Mozart connoisseur, violin virtuoso and university professor Kurt Guntner. The piano reduction was written by the Mozart connoisseur and basso continuo specialist Siegfried Petrenz. He strives for a good sounding, technically not too demanding piano score, which clearly stands out from the widespread piano reductions oriented to the orchestral score. This also takes into account the typical teaching situation, in which simpler movements are often needed.
