Yahaïouniis a word that comes from the Arabic language and means 'the light that shines in the eyes'. This capriccio-shaped piece is a free interpretation of the musical style of the 'compás moro', literally translated 'Moorish rhythm'. Traditional instruments like rabâb or ney are imitated with a very peculiar scordatura.
