Description:
The "Missa Cellensis", composed in 1782, is better known as the "Mariazell Mass", with reference to the pilgrimage site of Mariazell in Styria, where it was performed.
The revision of the complete volume of editions published by G. Henle Verlag, which contains this mass, made it necessary to adapt the performance material (BA04654) available from Bärenreiter. This applies primarily to the instrumental parts, but to a lesser extent also to the piano reduction. At the same time, a practical conducting score with the current musical text will be presented for the first time.
