Description:
The Immortal Ship sets poetry by Walt Whitman for tenor and guitar, and was inspired by guitarist James Boyd's voyage aboard Concord of Mersea in celebration of Benjamin Britten's centenary. The first performance was given by James Boyd and tenor Robin Tritschler on 9th June 2012 at the Aldeburgh Festival.
