Die Texte von Silja Walter sind klingende Sprache und scheinen geradezu zum Singen bestimmt. In Zusammenarbeit mit der Ordensfrau schuf Barbara Kolberg Gesänge, die im deutschsprachigen Raum bereits durch offene Singen, in Kursen und durch ihr Erklingen in Gottesdiensten weite Verbreitung fanden. Das vorliegende Liederbuch enthält eine Auswahl von 18 Gesängen mit klangvoller Klavierbegleitung. Im Schwierigkeitsgrad leicht bis mittelschwer ist für jedes sängerische Niveau etwas dabei. Viele der eingängigen Melodien sind auch in einer separaten Ausgabe als Sätze für gemischten Chor erhältlich. Für die Gemeinde wird ebenfalls ein eigenes Heft mit allen Melodien angeboten. Eine Fundgrube nicht nur für Gemeinden, Kantoren, Scholen und Chöre, sondern für alle, die sich gerne singend geistlichen Texten annähern möchten.
