Description:
Commissioned by the Bad Radkersburg Music School, Dir. Alfred Ornig BA MA, as part of the project ERASMUS+, LJUBIMO GLASBO, WE LOVE MUSIC, WIR LIEBEN MUSIK.
The suite with a total length of approx. 11 minutes comprises 4 parts, whereby after the fanfare at the beginning each of these sections describes not only the old town but also a special feature of the surrounding wonderful landscape.

4th Along the Mura in the UNSECO Biosphere Park
The original version was composed - in accordance with the commission - for youth wind orchestras at BJ level. The present version for brass 5-tet is also intended to expand the repertoire for music school ensemble concerts and youth competitions.
Info: The horn part can be replaced by a flugelhorn (or 3rd trumpet) if required, the trombone part can also be played with tenor horn/baritone.
Instrumentation:
1st trumpet in Bb, 2nd trumpet in Bb, horn in F, trombone/baritone in C (+Bb part), tuba in C, percussion, 3rd trumpet (flugelhorn) in Bb (instead of horn) /
