Description:
Die Musizierstunde-Ensemble Time MZ 299 (2 trumpet choirs) - for the wedding of Andrea & Tobias Zinser (August 2013) - This piece, originally written for a wedding, begins with a majestic, festive Intrada. This is followed by the chorale on which the piece is based, which is first presented as a solo and then as a duet. The two flugelhorns are reminiscent of a conversation between two people who are close to each other. Continuing this idea, the two trumpet choirs also listen to each other over the course of the piece. They are in constant exchange and, despite their independence, finally come together again in a radiant coda. Instrumentation: Choir 1 - piccolo trumpet, trumpet 1-3, flugelhorn Choir 2 - flugelhorn, trumpet 1-4 set of parts Score Choir 1: Bb/C piccolo trumpet Bb/C trumpet 1 Bb/C trumpet 2 Bb/C trumpet 3 Bb/C flugelhorn Choir 2: Bb/C trumpet 1 Bb/C trumpet 2 Bb/C trumpet 3 Bb/C trumpet 4 Bb/C flugelhorn
