My one of the best teacher and friend Roger Bobo asked me to write a piece for the same instrumentation as John Steven's Liberation of Sisyphus for his own tuba ensemble STUBA. The first thing, when I am thinking about a tuba ensemble, is sounds like the Earth begin to move. The dream was, to write a piece for tubas, what talks about something actual, important and sadly true and what speaks not only for the tuba and brass players, but the common men too.
