En Voyage by Corrado Maria Saglietti is a trio for trombone, tuba and piano consisting of three contrasting movements that evoke a colorful and energetic musical journey. The first movement, Scorrevole, creates a continuous and easy flow in which the three instruments dialog and respond to each other in a natural and transparent way. This is followed by Appassionato, the expressive heart of the work, which is characterized by intense lyricism and a singing composition that leaves plenty of room for interpretation. This movement particularly emphasizes the tonal qualities of the trombone and tuba, which are supported by the piano. The third movement, Allegro Festoso, ends the journey with vitality and brilliance, alternating between incisive rhythms and moments of musical play. The work was conceived for musicians of a good level and offers a successful balance between virtuosity, expressiveness and joy of playing. En Voyage is suitable for both concerts and chamber music and offers a modern, communicative and captivating composition.
