Fanfare of Hope was composed in 2003. It was commissioned by the Elgin, Illinois Youth Symphony Orchestra for their brass choir and premiered by that group.
Community youth orchestras are an important part of the music education fabric of the United States, providing opportunities beyond those of secondary schools for serious and enthusiastic young instrumentalists to hone their craft and artistry.
