With "Grenzenlos", Peter Leitner achieves an impressive fusion of traditional sounds and innovative elements. At the beginning and at the end, the composer presents a sensitive wind melody. In between, there is a modern, lively polka melody with syncopation.
In addition to the large wind orchestra edition, there is now also a version in the "RUNDELs Kleine Blasmusik (Quintett +)" series.
The RUNDELs KLEINE BLASMUSIK series:
Making music in small ensembles is the most original form of wind music and is currently becoming increasingly important. In an ensemble, musicians can work on important skills such as intonation and ensemble playing and express their joy of playing in direct contact with the audience. The new series RUNDELs Kleine Blasmusik therefore offers fascinating possibilities for wind bands who want to play traditional wind music such as marches, polkas or waltzes in small ensembles. The Quintet + concept allows for expansion with a two-part woodwind section, a trumpet, percussion, accordion and accompanying parts for trombone, tenor horn, baritone or French horn. In addition to the clear score, the sheet music edition contains a comprehensive set of parts and transposed parts. This allows for many creative and individual instrumentation variations.
