Description:
My compositions for trombone chamber music were mostly written on the occasion of various youth competitions and premiered by my students at the music school. The characters and stylistic diversity demanded in the various competitions are reflected in the works selected for publication. The "Miniatures" series ranges from short pieces for solo instruments with piano accompaniment to compositions for mixed chamber music ensembles.
The "Miniature No. 17 Katzenjammer" is not only suitable as a program item at youth competitions or concerts, but also as a welcome, "cheeky" musical interlude at festive occasions. Especially when it's time to whine. In keeping with the cultural themes: Too little budget, too few visitors, too little income, etc. But it's actually about two cats, the "meowing" is imitated by trombone glissandi. For cat lovers, this piece is a "must have".

1st trumpet in Bb, 2nd trumpet in Bb, 1st trombone in C (+Bb part), 2nd trombone in C (+Bb part), (opt. horn in F instead of 1st trombone)
