Description:
Trombone choirs are among the most frequent musical guests in the organ loft, and alternating between organ and trombone choir is common practice in church services and concerts. However, it is rarer for the choir to play the entrance and exit and chorale preludes together. There is little literature for wind choir and organ.
The new series "organ plus brass" compiles original works, but above all arrangements for this instrumentation, which are tailored to the requirements of non-professional wind players. The organ part can also be played by part-time church musicians on small to medium-sized organs.
So that the series can be used by brass ensembles of all kinds, the non-transposing wind score and individual parts in Bb are also provided in addition to the score with wind score in C.
Volume 1 contains an arrangement of the "Marche triomphale" by Théodore Dubois. The original composition was written for organ solo and is part of the well-known "Douze pièces nouvelles", which are available under the delivery number BA 8471.
