Description:
The "organ plus brass" series compiles original works and arrangements for organ and trombone choir that are specially tailored to the requirements of non-professional wind ensembles and part-time church musicians. The works in the series can be used by brass ensembles of all kinds, because in addition to the score with wind score in C, the non-transposing wind score and individual parts in Bb and F are also offered.
Volume IV contains arrangements of free and chorale-based church music by Charles Villiers Stanford. The original works for choir and organ can be adequately transferred to the festive instrumentation of wind choir and organ.
Carsten Klomp is professor of organ and liturgical organ playing at the Hochschule für Kirchenmusik in Heidelberg, Heiko Petersen is state trombone director in the regional work of the Protestant trombone choirs in Baden.
