Marc-Michel Le Bevillon

Panoramiques

Conceived as a true film score without images, this work for brass ensemble takes you on a journey through the artist's intimate yet universal landscapes. Each stop opens up a new "panorama": Africa, Brazil, jazz, Ravel... musical worlds that have shaped his path and nourished his imagination. These influences, memories and passions are reflected in a rich, colorful and haunting style of writing. But Panoramiques is more than a series of reminiscences: It is also an homage. A tribute to Michel Legrand, the master with whom Marc-Michel Le Bévillon worked for many years. Here you can sense this elegant tradition, the preference for lyricism and the art of musical storytelling. Every movement, every theme seems to tell a story, reveal an emotion or open up a new perspective. The work breathes generosity, freedom and the joy of creation; it is at once open and accessible, filled with rhythm and color. Written especially for brass, Panoramiques brings out the full expressive richness of this ensemble - in a constant dialog between tradition and modernity, memory and invention.
